I was on my computer at LeStat's Coffee Shop in San Diego when a friend came in and said get your ass next door and watch this amazing NYC band, The Animators.
Sure enough, they were great and had so much energy and strong pop rock songs.
Within a few months I was in their living room in Brooklyn recording a show for SMtv.
